While searching found someone that wrote how they did it in Texas.I now our stuff is not a replica car like this but should be similar order.I spent about a hour on the phone with DPS offices today and nobody could give me a exact answer nor all the forms. Will add more info if I find it.

From what I understand you cant get anything much done at DPS. It has to be done at the Registration/ Tittle/ Tax Assessor's office. The same place you get your title transferred at. I think DPS only does copies of titles, but I dont know. Never gone to DPS to get a title.

All I have to add is get a fucking VIN on everything you drive. Or someday some douchebag at a wrecker yard or impound lot will be the new owner. Almost lost mine the other day! Its has VIN #'s all over it now.

I forgot to post, but I got ALL the paperwork needed the other day for yall. I was at the Reg office and the lady knew her shit so I asked. She did a little research and gave me all the forms needed. Its the same thing you have to do when you build a custom bike or chopper.

She also gave me a list of the order to submit them and what to do.

I will leave the originals at the clubhouse one of these days.

Also, you all know that a slow moving vehicle sign (orange triangle) will get you from the trailer to trail usually. tractors have them so they can be moved from field to field. I think the vehicle cant have a max speed of over 45, so leave it in low Wink

IMO its way easier to just use a section of the frame off of an 85 or older truck. Buy a wreck w/ title and VIN tag. If its all tube just notch and weld it to the tube frame, and make SURE it has a VIN tag.

Just got mine inspected and you DO NOT need a windshield, doors, fenders, hood, top, or mudflaps in TX. If you have a windshield you do need wipers though.
